Hi! I’m Teresa.
I’m a FRESHMAN at the GEORGIA INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY, and the FORMER editor-in-chief of MY HIGH SCHOOL newspaper, The Stentorian, OF THE NORTH CAROLINA SCHOOL OF SCIENCE AND MATHEMATICS (ncssm).
Most of all, I’m a passionate journalist committed to uncovering the truth and amplifying underrepresented voices. my focus is on covering environmental sustainability, financial regulations, public health, science and technology, and stories that connect lived experiences to hope and justice.
MY PORTFOLIO
From age 11, beginning as a Kid Reporter for Scholastic Kids Press, I now have seven years of experience in journalism. Looking back on all these years, I’m both excited for the future and grateful for these experiences. Journalism has shown itself as an avenue to unravel the world. I proudly embraced my experiences, my connections, and my ideas to be a leader and an initiator, motivating me to try new things from a social justice perspective.
